“These work fine and do not appear to degrade the image quality or view angle. A bit pricey if you do not purchase them as part of a Fly6 Pro bundle, but the package contains two sets of lenses.
If you ride gravel or wet roads without fenders, these will likely do a great job of protecting the primary lens.
If your riding is primarily on dry paved roads, I have found the lens remains clean, and the minor dust that collects is easily cleaned during each charging cycle without scratching. There would be no need to use a lens protector.”
“Probably useful if the unit is dropped. Unlikely to provide much protection in an accident due to position on bike.
Main drawback is that it does very littl to keep water away. Maybe it isn't meant to do that.”
“Good image quality. Clear and very readable. Good stabilisation.
Software is good and app is useful.
Pricey.
Main complaint is storage. Supplied micro SD has limited storage. Publicity blurb says cards upto 256Gb can be used. They cannot. I've tried Various makes and sizes and none of them work properly. They give a wide variety of faults. Sometimes the same card will show different faults on different days. Totally random and erratic. Don't know what they do to their cards but they are extremely pricey compared to commercially available items. They must have some hidden formatting. Sneaky.
Customer service is not really very helpful, but the internet has several comments about this.
The unit works and works well, but once you have bought it you are on your own. Hopefully nothing will go wrong. Hopefully.”
“A bit fiddly to apply but I got there. Not entirely convinced as to how essential this is given the camera is partially protected by being located under my saddle but felt the overall bundle to be worthwhile.”
