“I recently completed the Pre- and Postnatal Certification course by Girls Gone Strong, and it has been a transformative experience. As a kinesiologist active in the fitness industry, my unexpected pregnancy sparked a deep interest in the health and well-being of women during pregnancy and postpartum. Enrolling in this course was initially motivated by my desire to stay informed during my pregnancy, but it quickly became a passion that I want to pursue professionally.
The course content is comprehensive and empathetic, blending scientific evidence with practical applications. It addresses the physical, emotional, and psychological dimensions of prenatal and postnatal care, resonating with me on a personal level. The support from the Girls Gone Strong community was invaluable, fostering a sense of camaraderie and understanding.
Completing this certification has been a pivotal moment in my career. It has provided me with the expertise and confidence to specialize in prenatal and postnatal fitness. I am excited to continue this journey after my maternity leave, aiming to support and guide other women through their pregnancies and postpartum recoveries. For anyone considering this certification, I wholeheartedly recommend it. It’s a journey of learning, growth, and profound connection.”

“Being a GGS Certified Pre- & Postnatal Coach has helped me grow my business by holding post natal classes for Mum and Baby in small groups. Continuing to train expectant Mums and helping colleagues when they have queries. It isn't just for the pregnancy or immediate post natal period, I have helped women who's children are grown up, who still have unhealed ongoing issues. The biggest and most dangerous myth is that after 6 weeks your medical professional may well say "you're good to go". Women need to recognise that they need to build up and not dive back in where they left off. Social Media and Media as a whole, have a lot to answer for when managing women's expectations about their body and shape post natal. GGS teach us how to deal with all these issues and give real value to women.”
Sharon, congratulations on becoming a GGS Certified Pre- & Postnatal Coach! It is incredible to hear how you are using your Certification to grow your business, run small group mum-and-baby classes, and support women well beyond the early postpartum stage.

That is exactly why this Certification was created, to give coaches the tools and confidence to provide long-term value and guidance.

“Having suffered symptoms of pelvic organ prolapse after my second child, I had no idea what was happening to my body. By chance I happened to see the GGS Pre/Post Natal certification on social media.
I had been working in the health and fitness industry for about 12 years at that stage (including university). The GGS course opened my eyes to a whole other world of health issues concerning women and was astounded that I hadn't been taught any of this information earlier in my career.
I highly recommend this course as a foundational course all trainers should do if they are interested in pregnancy and postpartum health and want to serve women better.”
