“WOW. What can I say, except that this sauce is the gold atandard from which I measure all other sauces. For a red sauce, this EXTREMELY fruit forward, which sounds like a bad thing, but it really isn't, and the heat is at a perfect level. Where as most yellow sauces tend to lean toward solely pineapple and mango, this sauce also incorporates papaya and peaches to compliment the scorpion pepper heat. The depth of flavor makes it extremely versatile. I put this on tacos, sopes, tortas, carne con papa, chili, sopa tarasca, pizza, ramen, and anything else with red meat. I have purchased 20+ bottles so far, and several friends I've bought bottles for now purchase it regularly. That probably explains why this sauce is always sold out.”

“This is a review of the new batch I received 11/2023. I get it, pepper heat can change from crop to crop…unfortunately this new batch is 3x hotter than the previous batch, and not quite as sweet. They lost the balance that made this my favorite! I am bummed. It’s also a harsh heat that goes right to my throat and makes me cough. I hope the next batch has got their balance back. Not a 5 star review like my last batch, only 4, if you love overly hot sauce.”

“I’ve tried a lot of hot sauces. (Of course… I haven’t tried them all.) Even though I like variety, Tears of The Sun is hands down my favorite, and if I could only ever have one hot sauce forever, it would be this! It is perfection between sweet and hot! I never want to run out!”

“I used this last night on some fried flounder... WOW! The taste was perfect, and there's just the right amount of vinegar-bite too! Great heat - it is hot, but I'd still say it's about perfect for liberal use.”
