“Heatonist #1 has quickly risen through the ranks as my new favorite hot sauce. I can taste every single ingredient listed, most notably the deliciously numbing Sichuan peppercorn. This sauce is aromatic, unique and well-balanced, with a creamy/grainy texture. The heat builds and numbs my lips. This is seriously spicy, but I can't stop eating it because it tastes so damn good!”

“Tasty sauce with a good amount of heat and an interesting pepper and citrus mix. Not sure what kind of citrus but it is somewhat heavy in the sauce. My only problem is that it's not a sauce that goes with everything. It does seem like the kind of sauce that would go really well on wings.”

“You love heat, this would be the right fit for you. I am glad I have this sauce. I will be getting this sauce for my now very special beef jerky. WOW i cannot say how tasty this sauce really is and how just a dab on the finger and then have a seat and wait for the fireworks. WOW great sauce. O YA love the description Heatonist #1. Are you afraid of the heat, you will fall in love with this sauce. I must try the whole line from this company!”

“Heat: 9/10. Good amount of heat. Make sure you shake this up, as it has a decent amount of oil to it and can separate. Taste: 7/10. I like the taste alot, it just isn't a traditional hot sauce. I am still trying to figure out what i want to put it on. Probably Asian cuisine would be good.”

“This sauce is my husband's absolute favorite. Great heat and great flavor! Anytime we visit NYC he makes a stop to pick up a bottle. For those times in between, I order off Heatonist's website. You guys are the best! Loved seeing you at the Hot Sauce Expo this year as well!”

“This is my first super hot sauce and man... what a way to start. Fiercely hot with really strong flavor. It reminds me of a great steak marinade for some reason. I mainly use this on pizza because I'm terrible at cooking, but I can see this being used on just about anything. Do not pass this one by.”
