Despite being extremely fruity, which is not something my palate tends to like, the Phoenix hits as a Hot Sauce. The spice is very much there and hits you right on the palate, whilst being mitigated by the intensity of the melon. A sweet heat that makes for a great addition to Grilled Chicken or Fish Tacos.

The flavor and the heat are perfect for anything this sauce blew my mind.

Nice flavor but haven't decided what it would taste good with.

The melon flavor is sometimes strong, then overshadowed by heat. I tried this with chicken, sweet potatoes, and nachos; it didn't mesh well with any of those. That could have been my fault for the terrible pairings. The heat says it's like a 4/10 but it's closer to a 5 or 6 as it is up there with the spicier sauces I have had (Aardvark is a 5 and this has way more heat than it). If you are the type of person who likes melon in things like the info says, then give this a go. For me, this isn't an everyday sauce and that makes it not great for me.

The smoothness of the heat and texture are quite nice. Probably one of my favorite for flavor as well. It can be put on anything that you want to add some extra flavoring to.

I love the flavor! This too is another everything sauce and a staple in my pantry. It's not runny and comes out very nicely. Good on everything!

Don't be afraid of the fruit combo in this one, paired with the Scotch Bonnet it's a fantastic duo! Any moment there's chicken around I have to put this on, hasn't failed my taste buds yet! Carries a decent kick too!
