Very unique sauce really, savory roasted flavor, goes great on pizza. It is a corn oil based sauce so you have to do some legitimate heavy shaking to get the sediments to mix thru each time you use it.

This is almost all oil, which I didn't realize when I purchased it. As such, it's really just a spicy oil rather than the hot sauces we've come to love from Heatonist. I won't buy it again. We tried using it to cook in, and it was a bit too hot for all parties who were eating, but we hot-sauce-a-holics liked it fine for cooking. :)

Oh no! So sorry this sauce threw you for a loop. Tomasa is definitely different than a vinegar based sauce. Here’s our suggestion for making it SING. First, give it a really good shake. All that yummy smoked spice really rocks when it’s shaken thoroughly into the oil. Then pour a little bit of it on a turkey wrap or grain bowl. Bam. It’s liquid gold. Fantastic Aroma, followed by a nice pepper bomb. Its flavor is easily overpowered good thing you can just put more on!!

I can't say enough amazing things about this hot sauce. Just the right amount of heat with kick ass flavor. Amazing on eggs, meats, salads. I need to stock up by the caseload.

This is an oil based sauce that seperates almost immediately. You need to shake it up immediately before pouring. It will start to seperate almost instantly, and If any significant time has passed, I have had to use a chopstick to scrape the spices off the bottom of the bottle to mix, as shaking alone will not dislodge them. But when properly mixed it has a very good flavor.
