Pretty hot by my standards, but there's a good flavor (plenty garlicky and smokey, as advertised) to go along with the heat. The oil base is an interesting change of pace. I haven't yet found a lot of things that I think it pairs with especially well, but I've put it on a frozen pizza and that was pretty good, and I made a steak quesadilla (cooked the steak in the sauce) that turned out really well.

I just received my third bottle in two months and my selfish side is hesitant to share how amazing and different this sauce tastes out of fear it will be out of stock when I reorder again. My wife is a vegetarian, and when she cooks, I can slap this on plain pasta, steamed veggies or almost anything really if I’m craving meat and it magically transforms the dish like it’s been smothered in pan drippings with a nice lingering heat at the end. Don’t get me wrong, it’s equally great on pork & beef dishes, but really has been the peacemaker of agreeing to eat less meat in our household. This natural sauce separates very quickly, so make sure you’re giving the bottle a good shake before each pour!

Honestly this is really a perfect sauce. It goes well on everything, and the flavor is really hard to describe besides perfect. Cantina Royal has once again made something I can't help but re-order on a consistent basis. If you haven't tried it, good lord try it. This is my first review on this website even though I've tried a lot of what heatonist offers, and I couldn't not review this. Absolutely perfect, I'm going to order x10 bottles next time I order. There's a lot of oil so you have to shake the bottle every time you use it, but it's a small price to pay for what it is.

Moderate delayed burn and rich flavors; you'd best like garlic -- but then, who doesn't! :-) Goes nicely with foods that vinegar-based sauces often don't accompany well (Thai & Chinese noodle dishes) as well as many usual favorites and some less usual; try it with fried momos!

Oily sauce with alot of sediment. Very smoky and balanced. Taste of charred pepper skin. Enjoyed on everything. My favorite sauce out of the 50 or so I have on hand. Flavor: 10/10 Heat: 4/10

This sauce is my hands-down favorite. I love the garlic flavor and the heat is just right. Spicy, but not unbearable.

There is a smokey heat with the oil base of the sauce, my favorite use is in a light pasta dish. Pairs really well in a carbonara. The heat will sneak up and let you know if you added too much.
