“I was expecting it to be hotter but it has decent heat. It is a bit sweet for my liking. Has a very tomato-y taste which makes me think it would be excellent on pizza or other Italian foods, although I haven’t tried it. For a sweetish sauce for everyday use I will go with secret aardvark over this one every time. Might be an excellent cooking sauce. But that’s just a personal preference, it’s a good sauce.”

“There is a part of me that would like a little more heat, but aside from that the flavor balance is spot on. I absolutely crushed my first bottle, and it definitely earned a spot as a staple in our household.”

“I have re-ordered this one a few times. not my favourite but it goes well with tacos and other Mexican style dishes. I like the Rojo instalment more than the original and am likely to buy it again when mine runs out. It is rather sweet which is not a trait I usually look for in my hot sauces, but it does add a sweetness that complements salty food. The rest of my family think it is spicy but I need more than a dab to get a burn.”

“The overall taste is good. I was expecting a little more boom so to speak because of everyone’s reaction on the show but its a good sauce. I wouldn’t go out of my way to say it’s the best but it’s good enough.”
