it taste pretty good and its kinda hot. You feel the heat in back of throught not really the lips of front of mouth. I found myself pouring a ton of it on my wings.

This is my second review of this. I am using this a lot for about 8 months now. The flavor is very good. It's hot but it won't kill you. If this level of heat kills you, then you need to get out and just stick to the vinegar sauces like Crystal, Louisiana, etc., sold in grocery stores.

This sauce is okay! I personally don’t think it’s hot! But it’s very tasty! I literally had to make more wings lol bottle half empty lol. Can’t wait for the next!!!

This sauce is legit hot hot hot. Not to be toyed with. I suggest adding it sparingly to your basic wing sauce to kick it up. The flavor of the sauce in my opinion falls in the not so great category. That is why I use it only as an adjunct to spice up much more flavorful sauces/chili/soups, etc.

My wife and I each had 1 wing with this sauce. We've been monthly subscribers to Heatonist for about a year. We have thrown this bottle in the garbage where it belongs. Initial flavor is toxic tasting, simply disgusting. Then the heat hits, which is intense. Shortly after my jaw muscles started contracting. Both my wife and I woke up the next day with full body muscle aches, incredibly uncomfortable. I went for a run that day and the muscle aches wore off, my wife did not run and continued to feel horrible for another 12 hours. The heat does dissipate within about 15 minutes, so at least it doesn't linger forever.

I didn’t think I’d like this one. Maybe because I heard that it was really vinegary, and just nasty hot. The hits you immediately, pretty hard, but does fade quicker than expected. My first thought was it would be better suited in gumbo than on a wing. But you know what? I kept coming back to it. It grew on me quickly. Yeah it hurts a little but it won me over.

Immediate heat with no ramp up. Almost like a diet version of Da Bomb. Least favorite sauce I’ve ever received in the subscription box, and of course it was the only sauce to ever repeat. lol

Has a similar consistency and initial taste to Apollo, like a pepper mash. The back end taste though was very different. While heat built with Apollo, Eye of the Scorpoin's heat was immediate with minuscule amounts. Another difference was the potency of the pepper actually made me cough a bit and the pain was only concentrated mainly to my tongue but was very painful whereas Apollo spread out more. Obviously they were using different peppers so it's not a surprise they would taste different but Apollo is supposed to be a higher Scoville rating and the hottest natural sauce on the planet. It seems sometimes, Scoville ratings don't necessarily matter, it's all about the pepper they use, and the Trinidad Scorpion is a mean one, but damn it's tasty!
