“I finished the bottle pretty quickly, and I'm really considering getting a new one. It's spicy, but not crazy that it ruins the food, just enough to sting your tongue. I used it as my everyday sauce, usually with chicken and fries, and I didn't notice the bitterness that people are talking about. It deserves the 9 it's given.”

“This stuff is hot, but the taste is god awful. Got it in the monthly subscription box and its my least favorite I've received so far. Widowmaker is on a similar heat level and is MUCH tastier - check that one out instead.”

“It tastes exactly like the sauce they have at a local wing place that uses the Scorpion Pepper. The description is pretty accurate, specifically the part about the pepper's floral taste. Its very good on wings but I'm not sure what else you can put it on due to the unique flavor. It's very hot but not unbearable and the burn goes away pretty quickly.”

“Tried some of this sauce on a piece of bread just to try it after getting it today and I couldn't taste anything for almost 10 minutes and not because of the heat, although this sauce definitely has a lot of that. The only this I could taste with this sauce is bitterness and literally nothing else. The bitterness of this sauce reminds me of some extract sauces like Dave's Insanity, which isn't a compliment as that sauce is pretty awful. If you're going to try one of the newer Hot Ones sauces I'd go with Constrictor or Brain Burner instead, which are much better.”

“The flavor of this sauce is not good. The heat hits you right away and lasts for a while (took about 10 minutes for my mouth to feel OK again), but the flavor is BITTER! I would not ruin palatable food by putting this sauce on it. '”
