“Fantastic sauce. Hot but not numb your tastebuds hot. A great level of smoke (but not overpowering) and its other flavors come thru really well. Highly recommend.”

“This is hot, but not unbearably so, and the flavor is so rich and complex: sharpness from the vinegar, brightness from the lime, and warmth from the smoked peppers, cinnamon, and other spices. It almost tastes like there’s a bit of chocolate. A+.”

“From the description, I thought this sauce sounded like it would only taste good with Mexican food, but this has become one of my favorites to eat with almost everything. Nice rich, complex flavor with tart citrus and spices. Its freaking great on eggs with toast.”

“Nothing "wrong" with this sauce at all, but it's flavor is... confusing? The heat mixed with the sweetness of the cinnamon that reminds me of Christmas cookies makes more a strange flavor. I agree with the 6/10 rating, this sauce is definitely hotter than "medium" but isn't very far into "hot" territory. All in all, I won't be getting this again, but it wasn't bad, just diffrent.”

I’m so sorry this sauce threw you for a loop! The cinnamon in the recipe pairs excellently with red meat, kebabs, burgers/chili, and butternut squash! Or if you'd like a suggestion for something more to your taste, send an email to ilovehotsauce@heatonist.com

“Quite tasty! It’s got a great mouth punch and a wonderful @$$ kick! :) it could pack a little more flavor, so that’s why it only got 4 stars. Overall good sauce though!”
