Place the planter into the soil, twist and press the handle. “It does the job. Bought this to plant a huge pack of spring bulbs.First thing is, our ground is clay and quite stony, even so I expected better quality from spear and jackson.The soil plugs aren’t easy to push back out, and it doesn’t feel like it will last too long.It’s did however do the job”

“Does the job. I guess it is as good as any on the market. Wet heavy soils stick in the tool and have to be prodded out. Stones also prevent tool getting into the soil.”
