Good so far. Good product, easy to use in softish ground but a little more difficult in harder ground. Will see how it lasts over a season.

a failure. This pricey item is supposed to make planting easier. It could be handy for window boxes, but if you use it on hard or stoney ground this thing is pretty useless, e.g. if you hit a stone the implement goes no further, depending on the size of the stone !Afterwards by squeezing the handle, the earth taken up is meant to be released. But if it is at all sticky or impacted it doesn't work, you have to scrape the earth out of the bulbplanter with your fingers or something else, and it can stick like glue and refuse to drop out. This bulbplanter is steel, but the handle support soon bent. After some use on fairly hard ground, one of the rivets went on the side. I had to chuck it away. It may be "Stainless", but it could have been stronger. It makes a hole for one daffodil or two or three crocuses at a go, and could be useful if your ground is very light, loamy and welldug. Or for window boxes. But not otherwise. If you are putting a lot of daffs into anything like hard ground it is much quicker and more practical to use your pickaxe.

strong item. I have bought the item for use when I plant bulbs in the Autumn so I cannot comment on use. However I have had other products from the same company and found them to be strong and well made. Looking forward to ease of use in Autumn.
