Great little tool!. I spent ages trying to decide which one to order as I wanted one sturdy enough to plant daffodil bulbs in a hard lawn. I definitely made the right decision; this little tool made light work of planting bulbs. Highly recommend it!

A good tool for the right place. It seems to be fine but I tried to use it on a rather stoney and dry patch of ground. It worked well, but the sides of the hole collapsed before I could get the bulb in, so I still had to use a trowel. Would work fine if the ground was damp and had fewer stones.

Great for planting potatoes!. I bought this bulb planter for planting seed potatoes. It cuts a neat hole 6" (15cm) deep quite easily. I then push out the soil from the planter onto the soil alongside the hole and crumble it into the hole to avoid damaging the shoots.
