“Worth having!. This made my bulb planting an absolute cinch. However, I must say that the bulbs were going into soft, recently dug soil and compost. If the ground had been harder I think the job would have been much more difficult for my hands and wrists. In addition, even though the soil was soft I found it hard to expel the plug from the device. I got over this by simply moving on to the next hole and allowing the plug to be forced up and topple out.”
