About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “We love playing Canasta but our old cards are sticking together and have been played to death so after looking in every shop we went to and not able to find them it was a joy to find these at such a good price and the delight at the little touches of a ribbon on the box and a card inside telling you who packed them is so nice in this digital, impersonal age! Loved them so much I'm going to order more for when we've worn these out! Absolutely would recommend Jaques of London to everyone.”

“Order form auto filled an old address from when I ordered from Jaques many years ago. I immediately emailed to give the correct delivery and was told it was my error, and it could not be changed because they use amazon to deliver. So, I didn't receive my order. Amazon have left it 100s of miles away from where I live.”
