About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “This is a nicely made functional toy suitable for quite a few ages of child. Easy to push beads along the base for 12 months and even younger with an adult supervising. The more complex 3d wires are quite challenging for toddlers”

“The Safari Animals Truck is lovely! It is strong, well made, simply designed and I know my great grandson is going to love driving it around. Being able to put the animals in and out three different ways - the roof, the back door and through the shaped slots on the sides, will develop his coordination and thinking. And I know his parents will be pleased that the solid wood wheels won’t damage their wood floor!”
