About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “It’s a beautiful thing - the only downside is how un-diverse the people inside the bus are. London is one of the most multi-cultural places in the world. Different races should be included in the characters on the bus”

“Unrated (but have to give at least 1 star or I cannot progress)at this time as the item has not been opened. I can state that the wrapped and sealed box looks very nice but the item is quite small. The bus is photographed with children of varying ages and it looks a decent size. That is not the case with the box. The item has been bought for a disabled person who loves red buses and this looked ideal. I am yet to open it but feel it'll be quite smaller than the images depict. It would help if JoL measured the item and added the measurement to the listing.”
