About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “All the shapes needed for countless hours of building fun. Amazing quality, and the price was quite reasonable. This block collection is a toy that will last many years, probably will be handed down to other young children eventually. So much better than the cheap plastic toys on offer.”

“The wooden blocks are lovely and colourful and feel good quality. I saw them on Amazon but wanted to buy them direct from the seller as am trying not to use Amazon so much and would rather pay a little extra to do so. The only thing to note is the red and orange blocks are a very similar colour next to each other, but this doesn’t affect the product in anyway. My 2 year old likes the bricks and my 5 year old loves them! Can see getting lots of use out of them and lasting a long time.”
