About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “The building block set is lovely but we were disappointed that several of the bricks were stuck together and separating them meant the paint came away. Presumably they were packed before they had fully dried. Otherwise I’d have scored it higher for quality.”

“Very disappointing. Well over half of the building blocks were damaged as if they had been packed before their painted finish was dry and another eight were completely stuck together. I feel they may be unsafe to give to my 22month grandson.”

“Great product, excellent service, fast delivery. Our almost 3 y.o. grandson adores these blocks. Hours of fun. I would have given 5 stars if some of the blocks were not stuck together.”
