About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “A really nice toy, and great that it includes a mesh bag for keeping the letters in! Bought as a 3rd birthday gift for my Grandson (he's not received them yet) but am sure he'll have plenty of fun with them in the bath and it'll help develop is spelling skills too! Beautifully packaged too, which was a nice surprise.”

“It's absolutely delightful to receive parcels from Jacques as they are so beautifully packaged. This gift like the others I have bought from Jacques are for my granddaughters first birthday in a couple weeks so we can't wait to see her playing with them. It was my daughter who requested we buy from Jacques as she has a degree in conservation and ecology and sustainability is very important to her and Jacques products fit with her ideals of that. Well done Jacques”

“The actual alphabet letters are of good quality but when I enquired if I could purchase additional letters -so my granddaughter could use them to make her name -Arabella -I was told that it wasn't possible ! They didn't even explain why . I emailed to ask if it would be possible maybe after the Christmas rush and didn't get a reply . Quite a disappointing customer service experience .”
