About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. “The actual alphabet letters are of good quality but when I enquired if I could purchase additional letters -so my granddaughter could use them to make her name -Arabella -I was told that it wasn't possible ! They didn't even explain why . I emailed to ask if it would be possible maybe after the Christmas rush and didn't get a reply . Quite a disappointing customer service experience .”

“The grandson really loves his bathtime and these are perfect toys for him, even harder to get him out of the bath now ;) Would recommend to all, bright and colourful, great toy.”
