About Jaques of London:
In 1795 Thomas Jaques took on his 15-year-old son, John as an apprentice. Together they established ‘Thomas Jaques: Manufacturer of Ivory, Hardwoods, Bone and Tunbridge Ware’ in Hatton Garden. We have remained a family run business ever since, with the same unwavering passion for quality games and toys.

Today we are ever-expanding our toy range and have been honoured with over 10 awards in the past five years as a result. Our Mini Minds Hub launched in 2020 to encourage learning at home. This is now stocked with over 150 free resources. We’ve been working for over 230 years to fill the world with more joy and we hope to keep striving for that goal long into the future. Why not come along for the trip with us!

Not played with this toy just yet. It looks good and it comes in a lovely wooden case. The beads are bright and colourful and the string to. Good toy for hand, finger and eye coordination.

Lovely large pieces for little hands to hold confidently. The box is very handy to ensure the pieces can all be tidied away after use.

simply brilliant for little hands. And the beads are a good size to grab and too big to swallow which is always a bonus with toddlers!

Needed to be finished better inside the beads. They damaged the lace and hurt my son’s finger.

Grandchildren love these bright beads. Great for learning colours & manual dexterity.

Beautiful packing and looks lovely but the inside of the beads were full of splinters and they came off when threading them onto the lace. Totally useless gift and caused tears!
