“Is challenging to find sturdy, non-decorated and safe-paint beads - so this was the best set I could find. However, I am keeping them aside until I find the time to file down the inside as there's lots of splinters. Really hoping I would not need to do this basic step. I am also modifying some of the laces with a hollow tube at the end to help smaller hands hold whilst threading (my child is 18mo, so may not be a problem for an older child with more fine motor control).”
