Very sweet and docile. Middle of the flock for pecking order. Reliable layer.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful photo with us! The new Ameribella is both lovely and an excellent layer and usually a very friendly but active bird. We are not suprised that you gave her 5 stars.... one for each egg of the week?!

Wow she is a sweet beautiful chick. Soft and sparkly pictures don’t do her justice.

Thank you for your wonderful review and video! We're thrilled to hear you find Ameribella to be such a sweet and beautiful chick. Sometimes pictures just can't capture the full charm, can they? As she grows, she will be even more beautiful and the sun on those black feathers will give new meaning to "sparkly!" We are here anytime if you have questions or need support along the way!

One of these two is super loveable and calm. The other is vying for top hen. Both are sweethearts.

We are first time chicken parents. We never intended to buy this breed but we wanted to start early April so we purchased 8 hens from this company. They shipped March 24th and I received them March 25th. Immediately, they all had their own personalities. I had a dominant one I named Rosie. Whenever they got scared they would flock to her and she would stand high with her chest puffed out. It was so cute! I have a lazy one I named Fawn, she likes to rest. I'm thinking she might be a good layer since she perches on everything. I have one who likes to be held. She will sit on our laps for 15-20 minutes. Her name is Stripes because she used to have a white stripe going down the center of her belly. Not anymore, they are changing everyday as they get bigger. They developed brown feathers, which maybe you guys refer to as red. I see a little purple in their black feathers. It's very cool the way they change. They had a little pasty butt but that was not an issue and cleared up within a few days. They are all doing good and outside in their coop. They are 9 weeks and we don't know when to expect eggs. We're waiting at this point and will write back once they lay. Great birds so far! We love them.

Thank you so much for your lovely review, Sara! It warms our hearts to hear about the personalities of your adorable hens—Rosie, Fawn, and Stripes sound like quite the character trio! It's delightful to know they’re all settling in well and starting to show their unique traits as they grow. As for the eggs, patience is part of the journey. Most hens won't lay their first eggs until around 6 months and some may wait til warmer weather if the 6 month mark falls in cold weather! Wishing you and your sweet flock all the best! Warm regards, Team Ameribella
