“Of the 4, one little one was DOA, another wobbly one seemed to be making a comeback with TLC, but died a few days later. The 2 remaining are now coming into their own, very pretty pullets. I am looking forward to seeing some chocolate colored eggs!”
We were able to cover your first loss under our 48 hour policy, and are sad to hear your weak one did not make it. Sometimes, even the best efforts to care for a weak chick may or may not help it pull through. However, it is wonderful to know your 2 remaining Black Copper Marans are doing well, and you will have some beautiful eggs soon!
