Baby Chicks: Black Copper Marans Female Reviews

This little girl is hilarious. She loves to play. She will get on top of her warmer and just sing (very loudly). I'm so happy I chose her.

Precious chicks arrived healthy and active, started eating right away! They look like cute little black bumblebees running around the brooder. Can't wait for chocolate eggs!

This dark chocolate Maran chick is my favorite. She follows me around the house like a fluffy miniature penguin wobbling on her little fuzzy feet. Her personality is quiet, lively, and friendly. She loves jumping on my shoulder to kiss me and fell asleep cuddling on my neck.

Out of the 8 chicks/6 breeds we ordered (they're all grown now)... Our Black Copper Maran is my favorite. She is the most friendly, to us and to all of the other chickens. She lays a giant, beautiful, speckled brown egg virtually every day - and was the first to start laying (weeks before the others). She's also super low maintenance - I swear, every other chicken has gotten into something or struggled somewhere along the way, but not her! She's been the dream chicken!
