“As expected, the blue Swedish is the most skittish of our group. Her colors are absolutely gorgeous though. She seems like a hardy girl who fits in well with the other ducks that arrived.”
“Beautiful, healthy duckling. She arrived with a Cayuga in a small, secure box with hay and electrolytes/hydration gel for each duckling. They have joined our small flock and are a fun addition to the family!”
“I ordered one of these girls with two khaki Campbell girls. They arrived two days after their ship date and they're happy and healthy. I highly recommend My Pet Chicken hatchery.”
“Angel is 18 weeks old now and has become my favorite chicken. She is very curious and friendly, doesn't make much noise and is easy on my landscaping. She is not at all skittish and will stand on my feet and peck my pant legs for attention. I wish I could post a picture of her to show everyone how pretty her markings are. She has the softest feathers of any of my chickens.”
“Anna was the one chick in our order that wasn't doing so well upon arrival. She was alive, but really lethargic compared to the others. I got them all started on electrolytes right away & made sure their brooder plate temp was correct & made them some warm smashed scrambled egg & in general kept an eye on her. Within a few days she had pasty butt, but I caught it & treated her & after that she was a roly-poly delight along with all the rest. She has grown into a beautiful chicken, with a huge fluffy butt, awesome feathered legs, and sweet disposition. She's low on the pecking order & skittish, but she will sometimes let you pick her up & snuggle her. She's the chonkiest of my birds, so being low on the chicken totem isn't hindering her ability to fill out. I just ordered another BSM like Anna for our flock. She lays chocolate brown eggs, often with pretty speckles.”
“Love our ducklings! Our sweet Alice is a Blue Swedish Duck. They have become a wonderful addition to our family. Big personalities, and growing beautifully. Alice likes to talk a lot! They arrived healthy and are happy quacky darlings!”
