“Angel is 18 weeks old now and has become my favorite chicken. She is very curious and friendly, doesn't make much noise and is easy on my landscaping. She is not at all skittish and will stand on my feet and peck my pant legs for attention. I wish I could post a picture of her to show everyone how pretty her markings are. She has the softest feathers of any of my chickens.”
“Anna was the one chick in our order that wasn't doing so well upon arrival. She was alive, but really lethargic compared to the others. I got them all started on electrolytes right away & made sure their brooder plate temp was correct & made them some warm smashed scrambled egg & in general kept an eye on her. Within a few days she had pasty butt, but I caught it & treated her & after that she was a roly-poly delight along with all the rest. She has grown into a beautiful chicken, with a huge fluffy butt, awesome feathered legs, and sweet disposition. She's low on the pecking order & skittish, but she will sometimes let you pick her up & snuggle her. She's the chonkiest of my birds, so being low on the chicken totem isn't hindering her ability to fill out. I just ordered another BSM like Anna for our flock. She lays chocolate brown eggs, often with pretty speckles.”

“I might be a little biased, but I think my Blue is the most beautiful chicken I‚Äôve ever seen. And her feathers are OH SO fluffy and soft! She is the sweetest of all my chickens. She loves to be picked up and petted and makes the sweetest sounds of contentment when I do. She will come and stand quietly at my feet waiting for me to notice her. She is far more attached to me than she is to her chicken friends. Her eggs are just like the breed description, brown with very dark freckles. I wouldn‚Äôt mind having an entire flock just like her!”
