The two girls that I received are the friendliest of the bunch. Can’t forget to mention how beautiful their feathering is turning out. I’m really excited to see how they look as adults. So far, I’m really pleased with our chickens.

I got two Green Queens sent to me in Feb. Both of my girls are laying age and they doing great. Chip, unfortunately, lays brown eggs instead of green - but they are beautifully speckled eggs. Her hatch-mate Velveeta lays gorgeous matte green eggs. Both are fantastic laying in the Texas heat. Chip is a grumpy, yet striking looking hen and Velveeta is... white. Which means she is always dirty, but is usually everyone's favorite. Love them.

We absolutely love reading your review of the Green Queen Easter Egger babies from your order! This breed definitely can have beautiful and different variations in not only the plumage but their egg colors as well! While most lay green eggs, there can be a bird every so often who will lay more brown-hued eggs. It is part of their mysterious charm :-) My Pet Chicken is very happy that your girls are bringing you happiness and are healthy! Please let us know any time if you have any questions. We are happy to help!

I ordered 3 Green Queens which all arrived healthy and happy. My hope would be to get varying shades of green. After 5-6 months of anticipation, only 1 lays an olive green egg and the other two lay cream colored eggs. So much for a small percentage that lay different colored eggs. 1 out of 3 means there was only a 33% chance I would get a green egg and 66% chance of a cream colored egg. I love my girls, but I wouldn't order Green Queens again. Hopefully the 2 Olive Eggers, who haven't produced eggs yet that were in the same order will make up for it. Keeping my fingers crossed.

I ordered green queen Easter egger and she lays pale green eggs that are not shiny. She’s a very reliable layer. She does not look anything like the pictures. She is an orange ish/ cream color. Super sweet, great eater, no health problems. I would buy again.

We are so pleased you like your Green Queen, Lauren! They are hybrid chickens designed to combine a prolific colorful egg layer with a friendly and calm personality. Their appearance varies greatly, coming in a wide range of colors, most are bearded, some will have feathered legs, and some even have 5 toes.
