Soothing Seed Oils Cleansing Balm Reviews

4.8 Rating 37 Reviews
Judging purely on the quality of the cleansing balm then I must say, this balm is excellent. It cleansed my wife's face so thoroughly without causing sensitivity. Her face felt soft and plump while being squeaky clean. It's so good, I've even had a go myself and I was not disappointed. You may not alway get what you pay for but in this instance you definitely do.

This melted the makeup on my face really well. Made taking off my makeup really easy!

This comes nicely boxed, with the balm itself inside a glass tub with screw lid. It looks quite professional and like good quality in terms of aesthetics. There's further information on ingredients and usage printed on the box, which I've taken a photo of. I was surprised to find this is a hard-packed product, so very much like a firm balm with a light-coloured wax-like appearance. ou get 100ml in the tub, which is a decent amount. It does this through a mix of ingredients like reship oils, Abyssinian, citric acid, eucalyptus globulus leaf oil, shea butter, and gold of pleasure, amongst others. The balm looks firm and hard packed, but when you get some out for use it’s actually a bit softer and has the texture and consistency closer to petroleum jelly. It applies in a similar way too, being on the greasier side but because it's thick I needed to apply a little more to get good coverage. Once I had enough, it was easier to really massage in and spread out evenly across my face, focusing more on the problem areas. It's very pleasant to use and whether it's the product or the glass tub I'm not sure but it feels quite luxurious and a little special. Despite there being no face cloth, I find this balm washes off pretty well with just warm water. I had my face flannel ready to help scrub it off but it wasn't required. My skin felt very fresh and a little cool, which was nice. I'd say it cleanses okay, even if not perhaps super thoroughly, though I've not tried it for removing make-up. The product thankfully didn't irritate my skin at all and if anything, the usual redness seemed to have calmed a bit. The brand does claim this has anti-inflammatory properties so perhaps that's why my skin seemed quite soothed after use. It does leave my face feeling fresh and smooth though and it does seem to calm down irritation and redness. It's a cleansing balm with a touch of luxury that makes it lovely to use so I'd say it's a very decent product in all that's worth trying.

This balm is amazing. It cleanses all in one go. I used to cleanse first with an oil based cleanser and finish with a second cleanser because nothing got off makeup completely. Simply take a nickel size amount, rub it between your fingers and smooth it onto every part of your face and gently rub into that makeup (don't use water until you gently work it into every crevice on your face). It really does breakdown waterproof mascara and foundation. Then rinse with water till it's all off. Your face will be so clean and fresh. What I love is it is gentle and perfect for sensitive skin.

Olivanna London brand is well known to me and their products are always top quality. The price of this cleansing balm is actually really competitive on Amazon, so at the time of the review just under £39 is a bargain. The balm rinses all the impurities very well without leaving a dry feeling afterwards. My skin feels super soft after use. The excellent set of ingredients are very gentle to my sensitive skin. I would definitely recommend this premium product, it's excellent value for the price, especially if you have sensitive skin like me. You won't be disappointed. Thank you for taking time reading my review, I appreciate your support, and I hope you find my review useful.

You never really know if something like this is doing good or not but my wife definitely says her skin feels better - at the price, that is essential, i would think. Easy to apply and despite not being the biggest jar should last quite some time as not a lot is needed. Smell/fragrance is really attractive.

I know this product is targeted towards women and I'm a man, but I also want to have fresh skin. I don't really know what to look for or what makes products like this great, but I did observe that it smells really nice. Certainly relaxing and also helps in getting grease off my face after a long day. Did I mention it smells really nice.

Lovely cleansing balm that rubs in like butter and then using a muslin cloth, it removes all traces of dirt and make up. The pot looks expensive and this will last a very long time. Leaves skin feeling moisturised too.
