“Bought this a year ago and it works as expected. It took my cat 2 months to figure out how to use it, so you need to persevere. Not sure what process worked as I pushed him through it multiple times which he hated, & apparently was the wrong way to teach them, but one day he just clicked how to use it.
I’m at work all day so this gives him the freedom to come in & out as he pleases. He’s locked in at night, and as soon as he hears the door unlock in the morning he’s outta here. The click noise doesn’t bother him and he’s quite a skittish cat.”
“This is more suitable for kittens to medium sized cats my two cats which are around 4 kg and 5 kg do fit through but a larger cat door would have been better for them. Also the clipping sound of the lock unsettles them and they prefer to wait by the door for a human to let them in but they will use the door cat if the have to. As far as keeping strays out it works a treat!”
“It took a while for my cat to get use to the click when it came in caused by the unlocking by it's microchip but seems to be OK with it now. The glass cutout was a little larger than the new cat door but I have since purchased the cover and it will be great from now on.”

“Works fine. No problems. We would prefer it to be bigger though, our cat is just slightly too big for it (medium sized cat). The battery also doesn't last too long. :/”
