“The MoeBot S5 is great, easy to set up and connects with Tuya easily, The MoeBot takes about 8 hours to cut my entire garden, so I put it on in the morning and by the time I get back from work it's done. and the security device built-in ensures no one steels my MoeBot. I got the cover which protects it from the elements which I found very simple to set up & no tools were required, as it came with the only tool I needed. All I have to do is some strimming at some of the edges which I do with my battery-powered strimmer which takes me maybe 2-3 mins as the MoeBot gets most of the strimming for me too, with the edging setting it has. I can definitely recommend getting one for your garden.”
“Does what it says. Not smart like a robot vacuum cleaner, it just bounces around randomly. Takes ages, but that was expected. Limitations as described by others (edges, etc.) were also expected. Does a good cut, including of 20cm high grass. Doesn't mind the odd stick or gumnut. Even though the lawn trimmings are not collected, they are not obvious like I would have expected.”
“Very good RoboticMower that you can afford if compare with a conventional mower. It could be better if the cut can get lower to 20mm like the others, mixed grasses can be seen with a 25mm height. The S5 battery is good enough for an average garden(90 minutes running time). I would recommend it to everybody.”
“Value for money, MoeBot does what it advertises. Solid product.
I have had the MoeBot running for about 9 months now on my back lawn only (Buffalo Grass). I mow my front lawns myself every week over the summer, and set the MoeBot to come out for a few hours every day over summer, and a couple of hours a week over winter. My back lawn looks amazing compared to the front lawn, the front lawn looks good, but not as good as the lawn that gets mowed every day looks. The back lawn is softer under foot, and stays greener too.
Definitely can recommend the MoeBot S5”
“I have the MoeBot S5 and the optional black roof cover for it. It took half a day to dig around and bury the wire in my lawn (I used some tools to help) but after that it wasn't so bad and it all worked first go. It has been mowing my lawn for about 6 months without any issues and I set it at the 5.5cm height which is the maximum it allows and okay for buffalo grass. It's a great machine and I recommend it.
It's true that that you will need to whipper snipper around the edges every few months (depending on your preference) but this is relatively easy compared to mowing the entire lawn. I wish that they would add direct remote control to the app so you could manoeuvre the robot around yourself and do away with the whipper snipper entirely.”
“Takes a bit of time to set up but working well. Used an edger to create a shallow groove to put the guide wire in so that it would be hidden under the grass, would recommend doing that rather than trying to tuck it under the grass.”
