“I've had the Moebot S5 for 6 months now. its been working great.
My main lawn is sloped, poor condition buffalo with a huge amount of weeds that has a permanently muddy patch due to bad drainage.
Before the Moebot i was struggling with a honda self-propelled which was heavy and would slide around and get stuck. since buying the Moebot I haven't had to mow at all, it handles every part of my lawn, and it is starting to look like a proper lawn again. I just need to get on top of the weeds now.
Initially i had a problem with it going over the boundary, but that was due to one area having too much slope, ive since leveled the problem area and it has been trouble free since.
the app is pretty basic, its tuya/smart things based but theres currently no homeassistant integration or anything, its not a deal breaker though, I just set the schedule and forget.
Real time saver and great value for the price, way cheaper than other brands, I'm considering buying a second unit now for another lawn at the other end of my property.”
“Must have in all lawns. I was skeptic at the beginning, but it is a must have now. I haven’t mowed my lawn in months now. I just do the edges, which takes 15-20 mins. Total lawn area around 300sqm”
“Really liking my Moebot s5, it is doing a great job of keeping my lawn well maintained. My lawn maintenance is now a quick run around the edges every few weeks.
The setup of the mower was straight forward, the boundary wire makes the system really reliable.
The app is easy to setup and as long as there is a decent wifi signal is really reliable.
I would definitely recommend getting the shelter for the charger as well, I purchased this after having the mower for a month.”
“I bought it for my husband for his birthday, he was a bit apprehensive because of our dogs, but it’s been no problem with them at all, so easy to set up and “he” was ready to go, “Moe” as he is affectionately called puts himself to bed when he’s finished for the day or when he needs a recharge and then he’s off mowing the lawn when he’s ready. So quiet you don’t notice him at work except the lawn has never looked so good, now the old petrol lawnmower is feeling abandoned, it hasn’t been out of the shed since Moe moved in.”
