“These radios are great. I actually have 6 six of them with mics and the bigger battery’s along with the Six bank charging unit. I have these radios to hand out for others who are riding in our group on rides that do not have radios to communicate with. Most of them purchase rugged radios after seeing how handy and useful they are. I highly recommend them!!”

“The website doesn’t list these as being only 2 watts, which is frustrating, but overall seems like a well built radio. Just wish it had a further range for the price point.”

Macks, Thank you for the feedback. While the radio is 2 watts, there are also low powered channels when using GMRS frequencies. “I ordered these radios in yellow for the high visibility at the last minute for a jeep weekend my husband and I had planned. Unfortunately, they were out of stock. I called Rugged Radios when I realized 2 days later that they hadn’t shipped and, long story short, they’d tried to contact us to let us know but we had not gotten the voicemail. The gray radios were in stock so they overnighted those to us and we were still able to get them in time for our jeep weekend. The radios are well-made and work great! Customer service was amazing to talk with-and yes, I actually got to talk to a real human when I called! Definitely recommend!!!!”
