“We were stuck getting this in place of a real 660 that quit and are beyond disappointed. Absolutely awful design. From a company that started out with actual race quality stuff, it’s just sad to see where this stuff has gone. Anyone that knows anything about off-road knows that putting the VOX behind the VOLUME on the same knob is just plain stupid. It’s almost impossible to adjust the vox as you drive and it might as well be connected to the volume directly as you can’t adjust the vox even sitting still without changing the volume.”

“Having the ability to talk with passengers and then talk with other cars all while listening to music thru your helmet headsets is amazing. It make the off roaring experience so much better. The voice operation allows you to keep your hands on the wheel and in control is great.”

“In 2021, I purchased a Rugged Radio kit through Kawasaki for my KRX1000. The kit was great and worked flawlessly until most recent (2023). The car to car intercom system worked great, but the driver to passenger intercom system stopped working. I made several camping trips without the intercom system working, and it was frustrating to say the least. I contacted Rugged Radio and made an appointment to take my KRX1000 to them, for help diagnosing the problem. Rugged Radio Tech Austin diagnosed the problem to be internal within the 696 intercom dash unit. AUSTIN AND RUGGED RADIO REPLACED THE 696 UNIT WITH THE UPGRADED 696 PLUS UNIT FREE OF CHARGE. RUGGED IS A COMPANY THAT STANDS BY IT PRODUCTS. RUGGED RADIO YOU HAVE MY LOYALTY!!!!!!”
