“I bought the 696+ with matching over the ear headphones for my Buckshot Sand Car. My wife has anxiety and the car along with headers scares her. With the Rugged system I can talk to her while driving in hopes to calm her down and make her feel relaxed. The unit arrived and it is beautiful. I called Rugged for some technical questions and the customer support is top notch. They walk you through every step and most importantly, thru answer the phone!! We installed the 696+ and took off to the dunes. My wife loved the fact I could bluetooth to the headsets and I threw on some music she likes. Off we went and this system did not disappoint. We duned pretty hard. The system worked great. Only hiccup was when we launched over a dune she yelled "I'm done!". It was loud and clear!!”

“I really like this system. The bluetooth works great. The layout is simple and designed to work with the Rugged Radio I have. Nice design too. I just wish the VOX was a little more sensitive. I have it right against my lips and turned all the way up. I still have to nearly shout to get it to pick up.”
