I upgraded to this intercom from a older system. It works great and the blue tooth is really nice.

I wanted to upgrade from my original 696 to the STX but didn't want to have to run all new cables and upgrade the helmet speakers. The Rugged salesperson suggested upgrading to the 696 Plus which could use all my existing wires and helmet speakers. I was worried it wouldn't be that much of a difference but did it anyway. I was shocked at how much better it sounded and louder the music was! The upgrade was definitely worth it.

We've had our Rugged Radio system for just about one year. One of the best purchases I've made for our RZR. Communicating with the other passengers in the vehicle is super easy and everyone can be in the conversation. LOVE IT

If you’re just cruising with your passenger or riding with a group. This is a game changer. My wife used to always be signaling so I would stop and say what???? Oh can we stop so I can put on lip gloss, or did you see that squirrel so now I know when it’s a legit stop or I can tune her out. But it’s awesome riding with a group decidiing on turns destinations….. I really love your products the Bell helmet and the pumper changed the whole experience. Keep making great things and I’ll keep sending my $.

I bought 2 headsets and the work and sound great. Block the noise well so you have clear communications and music.

We came to Pismo for a Manx Club Event Sponsered by Rugged Radio and purchased a complete radio/intercom system from a truly amazing and knowledgeable sales person, Taryn Teclaw. Being new to these types of radios, she answered all our questions and then some. We can’t wait to install this system in our new DSBE Manx Buggy! All of the staff at Rugged Radio are super friendly and very helpful. It’s so refreshing to deal with a company that not only has great products, but Customer Service that is unheard of these days. Thank you Rugged Radios for sponsoring the Manx Club! We will tell everyone about your company.

It definitely, an upgrade from the standard 696, works like a charm. The headsets are louder and clearer compared to the old 696. The music is better but not great as the next model up, it's not stereo it's just clearer in sound. Combined with the Alpha headset it's great for in-car communications. The only thing I would change is that the buttons wish to have more spring to know that I hit them and if the Vox control was separated for easier adjustment when trying to do it one-handed with a glove on. I know I shouldn’t be driving and messing but it's hard not to sometimes.
