Which kit components were the most impactful and why?
The jigsaw helped them to focus their other brick pieces and helped to co-ordinate as a team and play together. As a high ESOL class, a lot of children are the only one at home so it helps them to learn social skills and work together with other children.
What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners?
Enjoyable but becoming too difficult to maintain. Some had the determination to keep learning, some gave up and turned to other pieces. Interesting to see if in Term 4 when I re-introduce what the response would be.

We linked farming to other areas including big books such as "Mrs Wishy Washy" and write stories from that. We also studied some of the animals and related it to sheep we see at Cornwall Park and a sheep farm in Australia where orphan lambs wear special j
