Which kit components were the most impactful and why? It has all been impactful. I got older students when they were dysregulated to put the kits together. The younger students have enjoyed playing with the made up models

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? This kit is a staple in my classroom for creative play, and for helping dysregulated students to calm. I'm very grateful to have been provided this kit, usually this is something that I would have to pay for out of my own pocket.

“I have used these bricks in both the classroom setting with NE/Y1 and with dysregulated older students who are needing a brain break. They have been highly effective and a sought-after play activity. It has been great to see how the bricks have involved creative play with the students and I have observed key competencies being developed by the students through the use of the bricks.”

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The animals, farmers, vegetables, because of the discussion that occurred about where our vegetables come from, what they're all called, identifying them.

“Thank you so much for all of the bricks, the vehicles and everything that came in this kit. We have found so many uses for the bricks which we store all in one box, separate from our other class lego. The discussion around the pieces, the farmers, where the produce comes from has been delightful to hear and create learning opportunities from. We used the bricks to create our "holiday highlight' in 3D. Usually this is a piece of visual art work with paint or another medium, but this time we used the bricks. The kids appreciated the variety of pieces they could create with. We frequently use them for our maths or technology lessons too. There are just so many uses, and we are very grateful for this resources, thank you School Kit and Countdown.”

“The bricks farm kit was a very good kit. It generated a lot of discussion within the class and was a great spring board for a lot of learning. The children enjoyed using the bricks to create a story sequence for a story that they then created collaboratively and this then led on to many more story writing opportunities. It also lead to further learning into farming, animals and growing things which will be further developed throughout the year.”

“What a super way to end the term, just when we were all getting a bit tired and fighting off bugs. Great to see lots of collaboration, team building and children who wouldn't usually buddy up, working together. Some children were in their absolute element helping those who needed support. Everyone was super proud to show off our class farm at our parent interviews. Lots of perseverance and chatting, and followed on beautifully from a Farm Safety day we had the week before. Thank you Countdown and School Kit!”
