Which kit components were the most impactful and why?
The physical bricks kit and recommended readers list allowed our ākonga to draw comparisons between the two area's of learning. Meaningful and rich language opportunities arose as they shared their thoughts about what may be or what could happen next.
What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners?
Our ākonga ask to engage with the kit daily and has empowered and build the confidence of some of our emergent learners who prior to the kit would not share their ideas in group learning. One of our parents saw the kit and brought his Fonterra milk tanker

As above, it allowed to meaningful and real life experiences to become tangible in the classroom. Lots of prior knowledge, stories and experiences where shared with their classmates.
