We loved building and playing with the Bricks Farm set. We have been learning about constructing sentences in te reo and building our Kupu. This resource has been a great and fun way to build on these skills.

This was a very welcome addition to our room. At the time we had just received a new child to our room and it was so lovely to see him interact with others through the use of these bricks, and share his skills around Lego. The children enjoyed playing shops, and discussing the different modes of transport used and why they were needed. The only issue was keeping all the creations in separate boxes to allow for children to undo and remake them, as when they got mixed up it was much harder for the children to construct again. All in all, however, a very valuable activity.

The bricks were great. My class of year 2s loved being able to put all the kits together and work as a team. We learned lots of Maori and the students now use it when talking about what fruits and veggies they have in their lunch boxes. Thanks so much for this kit!

The children in my whanau group loved this kit. There was alot of oral language, team building, cooperative skills encouraged through play. They practised reading and following the instructions of the images to create the bigger boxed items and also learnt to problem solve to make the smaller ones themselves. Absolutely brilliant and still used in my class every day!
