“Such a generous box for tamariki to explore and create. For a new entrant class some of the models were a little tricky but with help they got there. Great introduction to a scenario where following instructions leads to success and after the models were created they could go where their imagination took them.”

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them Whaea, I know how to say farm in Te Reo because of this lego activity. I also had students discuss how fun the mahi was and that they didn't feel like they were learning.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? Kupu and rerenga cards, was engaging and motivating for the tamariki to see their language within a resource that was fun and interactive.

I used it as a team bonding/relationship-building exercise, a way of increasing my tauira kupu kete, and linked it to our maramataka kauapapa through the growing and harvesting of kai from the māra.”
