Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The lego was a great play based provocation to spark oral language support.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? They have explored where their food comes from through play.

It was good to have a buddy with who could help me read words I didn't know and to help me put the kit together (Alice Year 3) We put put the milk truck together

The idea involved estimating how many pieces there could be in the packs. The students enjoyed this as it allowed them to think about numbers and then to ma

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? the smaller packets of bricks made some feel that they had achieved so much. The larger sets were brilliant for being able to follow instructions.

“A group of students worked on this kit with a teacher aide in my classroom. What an amazing kit the Countdown Farm Bricks one is. They loved the creativity and design opportunities it allowed. It also promoted teamwork with students working together to create and make things. Working co-operatively, learning about our rural communities and having fun. The students enjoyed building the vehicles and buildings.”

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them I liked making the big truck because it made me think how things go together. It was fun working with my friend to make the barn. I liked the way we shared the lego and took turns.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? Lego pieces - encourage creativity as well as following the instructions of the individual pieces.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? Our school values of responsibility, respect and kindness. Our children enjoyed being able to work together with their buddy to complete their lego creation to be part of an even bigger creation.

“Room 5 loved using Bricks Farm. It was wonderful watching the children working together to put together each of the individual packages, the picture base board, we used this opportunity to talk about positional language and then putting it all together to turn it into the farm environment. Once we had finished using this as suggested the children loved creating their own lego masterpieces.”

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them I liked making the Milk tanker. We have one that comes to my farm. The farm was fun to make. The big house was a bit tricky!

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? Plenty of kits to go around and the resources were well thought out. Kids live miniature versions of real things.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? The kit is used almost daily as part of developmental play for young leaners. It is a preferred activity in our room.
