Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them The farm is cool because I like the tanker and all of the parts. I am learning how to say what things are in te reo and answer questions too.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The bingo game and the farm itself. They loved using the Lego components with the bingo.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? I’m not sure what that means, but I know that this kit will become an ongoing resource that the children will continually use and grow from.

How did the context of farming allow your learners to explore and develop literacy? It was a user friendly context. Most children have either lived on or know about farms. They were able to explore and talk whilst playing, developing their vocabulary and language skills.

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them "We put a hat on the dog because it is his birthday." The children had set up a scene for a birthday, including giving the people and the dog a ride on top of the vehicles.) "I liked making all the gardens grow."

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? Vehicles - who doesn't like to transport things (an intrinsically strong play urge). Animals - a lot of discussion around the animals needs. Plants - numerous reinventions of the farm layout. Putting the pieces together from the little bags - so much fine

" I didn't know the animals in Te Reo but now I know some... We read lots of books about animals and how they.grow.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The bricks and simple instructions... The kids enjoyed the game aspect too.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? Life cycles of animals.. that we had to investigate after doing some creating... Also collaborating as a class after the trauma of the cyclone... Creating relationships and cooperating.

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them - I liked the milk tanker because I built my one at home so I could help my group to build our one at school -Bees have a honey stomach where they turn nectar into honey.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? All of the components were impactful and added to the experience of building a farm and learning what farms produce.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? We watched the videos and deepened our understanding of the importance of bees and also how bees make honey.

“My Year 3 class loved collecting and building the Brick Farm. They enjoyed completing the activities in small groups to receive the blind bags. My students started by feeling the contents of the bags before opening them and predicting what might be in them. We also used our Brick Farm as writing motivations to either describe each new farm item or explain what it did around the farm. My students also wrote instructions on how to assemble the farm equipment.”

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? Thing, that + for cards. We really enjoyed these as a class, it gave the students some really amazing prompts for some technology based learning.

“Well the tamariki in K3 loved this kit! There were so many opportunities to have across-curriculum learning within this kit. They all really enjoyed being able to work collaboratively to set up all the pieces within our farm set. We had a lot of fun learning new kupu for all of the aspects of the kit such as the vegetables and vehicles. We linked the kupu with learning how to ask, he aha tēnei? (what is this?) and how to reply.”

Two different students would ask if they could stay in during break times so they could play with
