Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The larger vehicles as these were too costly to buy for the class.

“This is an awesome kit and we were grateful to receive the entire Farm Bricks set. We needed help from senior students to build the more complex kits. These students also loved being able to build them! We did find the game very tricky- good for small groups and extending Te Reo in particular. The class will continue to use the kit to develop positive relationships and problem-solving skills when taking turns to play in small groups.”

“The students loved the building aspect of the farm, and it provided many opportunities for mahi tahi. They found the larger items really hard to build, so needed a lot of resilience, they also learnt how to actually use and follow the instructions properly. They felt great success when completing the large Lego builds.”

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? I teach English language learners so the labels in English and te reo Māori were great for building vocabulary.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? Many of my students are new migrants so it was great to teach them about farms in NZ.
