Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them We liked using the lego it was fun. We could play farms and use our toy animals.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? I feel the farm as a whole with having the baseboards to use as a complete set in our tough trays allowed for imagination and child led play to occur.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? The excitement about where food comes from and their milk. Having the equipment to continue to use during free play is very exciting.

“My young learners loved getting their hands on this school kit. Seeing their face light up as we unpacked it and making the connections along the way was brilliant. A little tricky for my little ones to put together and lots of teacher support and guidance, but so much fun when it was all together. Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The vegetables and fruit trees in the lego kit - Expanding our vocabulary has been great and it has tied into our garden focus as a school.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? Knowing where our food comes from! Knowing how and where veggies and fruits are grown.

“What a fun School Kit! We found following the instructions a little bit tricky (Year 0/1 children) but lucky for us, our buddy class couldn't help us! The building process gave us a great opportunity to practice persevering when things were tricky. The children have all LOVED playing with the farm and their vocabulary is growing by the day. The tiny details like the composter and beehive have been great discussion starters. The children have been very interested in naming all of the vegetables as they load up their trucks and this tied in beautifully with our Autumn planting at school. My children continue to play with the farm daily and have started to expand it by creating new things, e.g. a rubbish truck and a school! It is lovely to see the children discussing, negotiating, taking turns etc as they play with this set together. Thank you, School Kit!”
