Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them I make the farmer drive the tractor to get all the vegies. The animals have to go in the barn to be safe and they must get water and food or they don't grow big and we can't eat them.
Which kit components were the most impactful and why? having the puzzle as well as the lego encouraged my sensory children to explore. The full range of vehicles and the clear zones on the puzzle supported the children to develop an understanding of the different elements that make up a farm quickly.
What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? A love for LEGO! And a healthy understanding of where food comes from. They don't now tell me that it only comes from the supermarket. They want to tell me how it was made/grown and who helped in the process. It led to us growing things too- so YAY!

OMG! The excitement in our room was AMAZING! As new entrants the fine motor skills and small group learning involved in building these amazing creations was such great learning. My class loved learning all about how farms worked and what each piece of equipment was. Having all the different vehicles and buildings meant they were able to identify and follow the process of farm to supermarket. Luckily I had a supermarket in the classroom and we set them up to drive their products to the supermarket as part of our learning. It is by far one of the most popular items to play with in our class now and our vocabulary around farms and supermarkets has grown dramatically.

My class absolutely loved the Bricks Farm resources we received. They liked playing the game and earning pieces to make up the building and trucks etc. The Maori vocab we learned was great. There is now a table set up in our room permanently and every morning before school students are there talking to each other and making up creative games using this wonderful resource.

This kit was amazing! The students built up the farm and sorted all the buildings, vehicles, and people into their own areas. The farm was constantly changing in its layout. Lots of discussion was happening as to what the vehicles were for and how they could be used. The students loved the trailer that could be out onto a couple of the vehicles and that it could carry items in the back. I found this kit valuable for the students that had no idea what a farm was and where we got our food from other than a supermarket. The vocabulary that they built up with the discussion was awesome and the way they spoke to each other using the same vocab was great. It was a wonderful kit for the students to build on their fine motor skills and also on the creative way of building certain structures.

At Sacred Heart, we are a play-based learning environment that enjoys discovering. I found that the children in my class really enjoyed interacting with the Bricks Farm starting with the activities and then using the equipment (bricks) in role-playing. The only criticism I have is some of the vehicles and buildings were hard to make with complicated instructions.
