Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The physical lego and also the little tokens with the english and te reo name on them

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? The children have learnt a lot about animals, crops etc that some children may never have been exposed too. They also love the lego and to build other farms

“Wow, this kit really sparked a lot of interest! Our school is in a city where children don't often get to see a farm setting, so the amazing questions and conversations about this kit were more than I ever expected. They were very precious about it all being set up correctly when they were finished with it. The fine motor skills it provided were great for my young year 2's.”

“The Bricks Farm Kitset is FANTASTIC! The children love it. They use it every day and in fact children from other classes pop over to use it too. It is wonderful for imaginative play and play based learning. The children were very interested in learning about all the different foods. Many of the children did not realise that crops of food are grown on farms before they arrive into the supermarkets. The Bricks Farm Kitset is very popular and it will be used by the students for many years to come. Thank you so much!”

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? The Lego itself. Some students struggled to put it together but with cooperation and support from their class mates they could do it.

“My kids at Flaxmere School have greatly enjoyed unboxing the kits weekly. We have incorporated it as our end of the week prize for doing great mahi and would come together to build the bricks together. It was wonderful to see how kids persevered through as they navigate the way to build each part by looking at pictures and directions.”

Please provide 2+ examples of student voice on the kit's impact on them Child 1: I liked making the people when i went to see jaqueline as a prize for when i done good reading. Child 2: the corn was cool and i like the pigs too. the truck was tricy and the instructions ripped.

Which kit components were the most impactful and why? the animals because the kids were able to use them in a way other than making them. they put them in the dolls house.

What is the legacy this kit will leave behind on your learners? we have combined it with our lego kit. they love making things with the lego. as far as the groing/ green theme of the actual kit it was not usefulo.

“The kit was just ok. the idea is that they are recycled bricks however there is still a lot of energy used in all that packaging for just 1 person and a pig. ( for example) although it was set up on our back table and every day a few kids were able to open more it wasn't open ended play it was very specific. They got bored of it very quickly.”
