We had anxiety with Covid approaching and then enveloping us as a nation and as a planet in reality, we also had children dealing with the trauma of losing a classmate from 2019 who had moved on to intermediate. How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? My kids enjoyed using some aspects of the booklet and the videos. They also found the recharge station OK, but I believe there are less complicated ways to do daily check ins with your class to help with their emotional well-being.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? It helped to develop more understanding of the children’s emotions and allow them to discuss these feelings more freely With the class and teacher.
“Some aspects of the kit were very good, however I found the planning that went with the kit to be overly complicated to wade through. The font was very small and the lessons could be set out in a much more user friendly manner.”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? I think the letter from home from loved ones had the most impact as they were so meaningful to each child.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? I found the kit was great in sorting out issues that the students would not normally speak about. They used the red sheets to inform me of things that they were really not happy about and i was able to set things in motion to make change.
“This kit was interrupted by Covid and when we got back to school it was difficult to go back to using it. Some of the check my charge pages such as self belief were difficult to see how they related. Self belief relating to: being organised, using names etc were hard to clarify for students.”
