How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? The charging station has been helpful to make students aware of how they are feeling and why they are feeling this way.

How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? We didn't gain enough momentum with the kit to allow the children to really explore the charging station and how it worked.
“The Dove kit had some great ideas and themes. Unfortunately we were unable to gather momentum with the kit due to going on school camp then lock down. We have been unable to revisit the kit since being back and have packed it away for use next year.”

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? As outlined earlier a lot of this was done before we received our kit.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Some children used it regularly, others just preferred to come and chat with me directly each day.
“The children in my class seemed to find it hard to engage in this kit in the way they had with previous ones. This is possibly because it arrived after the start of the year and we had already covered many of the topics in the booklet in our start of the year activities.”

We had anxiety with Covid approaching and then enveloping us as a nation and as a planet in reality, we also had children dealing with the trauma of losing a classmate from 2019 who had moved on to intermediate. We did a daily 'taking the temperature' with them and we also used 'positive forecasting' for those children who have tricky home situations going into the weekend. Confid

How have the components within the kit helped develop your student self-confidence? My kids enjoyed using some aspects of the booklet and the videos. They also found the recharge station OK, but I believe there are less complicated ways to do daily check ins with your class to help with their emotional well-being.
How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? It helped to develop more understanding of the children’s emotions and allow them to discuss these feelings more freely With the class and teacher.
“Some aspects of the kit were very good, however I found the planning that went with the kit to be overly complicated to wade through. The font was very small and the lessons could be set out in a much more user friendly manner.”

How have the components of the kit helped develop Student-Teacher communication? Some of my older students are able to communicate better when they have begun using the strategies that have been offered.
